Glen Holsinger

SIOUX CITY -- Glen Holsinger, 81, of Sioux City passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, at Matney Colonial Manor in South Sioux City. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Glen was born January 10, 1931 in Ute, Iowa, to Frank and Vesta Holsinger. The family moved to Modale, Iowa, then to Sioux City. Glen worked at Goodwill Industries for several years. He moved to Oregon for 25 years and returned here in September of 2011, and had resided at Matney's since that time. Glen loved to walk. He had a wonderful stepfather, Robert Peterson. Survivors include brothers, Frank and Linda Holsinger, Robert and Denise Holsinger and Randy and Debbie Holsinger; two sisters, Joan and Orvall Hindman and Rene and John Wright; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; father; stepfather. A special thank you for all the wonderful care provided by the doctors, Matney Colonial Manor and Hospice. God bless.
