Louise M. Clausen

SIOUX CITY -- Louise M. (Bueoy) Clausen, 83, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012, at a local hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Heisler Cemetery, Mapleton, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be the hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be posted online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Louise was born on November 14, 1928, in Mapleton, the daughter of Luther and Arminta "Minnie" (Powell) Bueoy. Her family moved to Sioux City when she was an infant and she had lived here since. Louise was a devoted homemaker and mother to her eight children. Survivors include her children, Julia Brockhaus of Sioux City, Judy Bahler and her husband, Jim of Pahrump, Nev., Gail Clausen and his wife, Connie of Van Wert, Iowa, Sandra McMahan and her husband, Dale, Terri Clausen, Becky Clausen and Jeffrey Clausen, all of Sioux City and Sara Clausen of Omaha; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and seven siblings.
