Victoria Jo "Vicki" Wohlert, 53, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at her residence. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Private family graveside services will be in Schaller Cemetery, Schaller, Iowa. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Vicki was born Sept. 21, 1958, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Janice (Parkinson) Howard. Vicki grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools before the family moved to Hinton, Iowa. She graduated from Hinton High School in 1977. She married Fred Wohlert, whom she had been with for the last 22 years. Vicki was a supervisor for MCI for many years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed doing crafts. She and Fred enjoyed going to car shows. Survivors include her husband, Fred of Sioux City; three children, Melissa Luck and her husband, Josh of Sioux City, Nicholas Beyer and his wife, Marcella of Onawa, Iowa, and Jeremy Beyer and his wife, Tiffany of Sioux City; a stepson, Robbie Wohlert and his wife, Marie of Seattle, Wash.; her father, Larry Howard of Dakota Dunes, S.D.; her brothers and sister, Danny Howard and his wife, Kim of Dakota Dunes, Julie Parkinson of Greeley, Colo., Tracy Howard and his wife, Jean of St. Paul, Neb., Jodi Maturo and her husband, Pat of Denver, Colo.; nine grandchildren, Tanner Noltze, Kenlie Luck, Jacob, Vincent and Kaylee Beyer, Conner and Nevaeh Beyer, Allie and Ross Wohlert; and her close friends, Melanie and Brandt Kjose and their children, Cory and Tyler, all of Sioux City.
