SIOUX CITY -- Kenneth G. Angerman Sr., 88, of Sioux City passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at his residence. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the reverend from St. Augustine Catholic Church in Winnebago, Neb. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Kenneth was born on April 2, 1923, in Sioux City, to John Alexander and Mabel (Ferdig) Angerman. He attended Trinity School in Sioux City. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was married to Hazel Masquat on March 29, 1946, in Dakota City, Neb. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2008, in Sioux City. He worked for many years as a plasterer, spending most of that time working for Junck's Plastering and Drywall. Kenneth enjoyed catfishing, going junking, picking walnuts, mushrooms and popcorn. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his seven children, Kenneth (Penny) Angerman Jr. of South Sioux City, Daniel (Carolyn) Angerman of Silt, Colo., Pamela (Butch) Morgan of North Sioux City, Rita Anderson of Sioux City, Robert (Rose) Angerman of Sioux City, Tina (Willie) Lowry of South Sioux City, and Cathy (Kerry) Steele of Sioux City; 23 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; five children, Monica, LuAnn, Edward, John and Mary; a grandson, Samuel; and a son-in-law, John Anderson. Pallbearers will be Mike Morgan, Willie Steele, Quentin Steele, Jedidiah Steele, Christopher Anderson, Matthew Anderson and Kenneth Angerman III
