Marcella R. Scott

DAKOTA DUNES -- Marcella R. "Scotty" Scott, 89, of Dakota Dunes passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at a local hospital. Per Scotty's wishes, her body was cremated, and no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be posted online at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Marcella was born the daughter of Chester J. and H. Marie (Fuller) Scott on Nov. 23, 1922 in Cherokee County, Iowa. Marcella is survived by her special family, Lavelle and Robert Rice of Dakota Dunes; Sue and Dan Henderson and their children, Taryn, Britt and his wife Mika and their son Koen of Sioux City; Tawnya and John O'Neill and their children, Ashley and Chase Cleveland and Andy and Alex O'Neill of Dakota Dunes; Jacob Victor DeHaan of Palm Springs, Calif.; and cousins, Eleanor Anderson of Alta, Iowa, and Donald and Annette Blake of Cherokee, Iowa.
