SIOUX CITY -- Gail Jean (Graves) White, 61, of Sioux City, beloved mother, sister and nana, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness. Services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Gail was born April 27, 1950, in Sioux City, the daughter of Melvin and Dixie (Doohen) Graves. She was a student of life, theology and motherhood. She was truly dedicated to being the best mother she could be. She was involved in several successful businesses including Master Maids, National Care Line, which provided spiritual counseling for those facing a crisis, and owned a successful home daycare. Everyone who knew Gail would say they are a better person for knowing her. Her wisdom was enlightening to all the lives she's touched. She is survived by her children, Clifton William White and his wife, Jackie Danielle White of Sioux Center, Iowa, Jacob Isreal White Sr. of Sioux City, David McFarland of Denver, Colo., Michael Joseph Oshea Jr. of Loveland, Colo., Kimberly Kay White of Sioux City, and Rachel Amy White of Denver; a brother, Alan Graves of Norfolk, Neb.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including nieces, Shannon Swats and Erin Sullivan; and six grandchildren, Tasha Nichole White, Patrick Jordan Walker, Jacob Isreal White Jr., Mason Lyric Oshea, Alexandria Arlene Kelly and Anna Elizabeth Kelly.
