SIOUX CITY -- Billie Jo (Schriber) Lund, 71, of Vermillion, S.D., formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, in Yankton, S.D. A celebration of life service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at Cafe Brule in Vermillion. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Billie Jo was born June 17, 1940, in Evansville, Ind., the daughter of Jesse "Paul" and Hilda (Garrison) Schriber. She grew up in Indiana. She lived in Kansas City and Sioux Falls, S.D., before coming to Sioux City in 1985. She lived here until 2000, when she moved to Vermillion. She worked for the Elbon Club, St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, Western Iowa Tech Community College, and Green Gables. Billie Jo enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Survivors include three children; four stepchildren; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her dog, Sacha. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter; and her sister.
