SIOUX CITY -- Blanche Eleanor Reinking, 88, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2011, at Northpark Assisted Living after a brief illness. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Matthew Miller officiating. A private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Meyer Brothers Chapel. Blanche was born Aug. 18, 1923, to Otto and Ethel (Kempton) Linduski. She graduated from East High School and attended Morningside College. She married Richard Reinking Aug. 2, 1947, in Sioux City. He preceded her in death Oct. 30, 2006. Blanche was a member of the dental auxiliary, P.E.O. and an active member of First Presbyterian church. In later years she enjoyed traveling with her husband Richard and their time together in the Black Hills. Her greatest love was spending time with her family. Survivors include her five children; Jeff and wife Denise Reinking of Sioux City, Greg Reinking of Federal Way, Wash., Mark and wife Roxie Reinking of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Becky and husband Jeff Clemens of Spokane, Wash., Lori and husband Mark Beck of Olathe, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; Ben Reinking, Natalie and husband Chad Schaller, Alicia and husband Maynard Smith, Amber and husband Josh Wisner, Tony Reinking, Ryan and wife Kelly Reinking, Samantha Reinking, Carrie Araiza, Kimberley and husband Wes Rasmussen, Jessica Beck, Josh Beck, Jacob Beck; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Don Linduski and wife Rose; sister Joyce Whinery and husband Bob; sister-in-law Roberta Elliott and husband Nick; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandchildren Brenda Beck and Luke Beck and great-grandchild Brendan Araiza.
