SIOUX CITY -- Jeffrey D. Byrne, 59, of Sioux City passed away suddenly Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at a local hospital comforted by family. Abiding by family wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 with a time of remembrance at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. He married Rosie Conley-Habhab on July 13, 1973. On Sept. 23, 1988, Jeffrey married Jennifer Lambert in Elk Point, S.D. He was self-employed as a carpenter his entire working career. He found his professional pride and joy in the Orpheum restoration. Jeffrey is survived by wife, Jennifer Byrne; mother, Katherine Byrne; sisters, Karen (Stan) Sowienski, Lisa (Charlie) Barker, and Jana (Bob) Lee; brother, Craig (Jan) Byrne; daughters, Kelli (Andy) Van Steenwyk, Shannon Byrne, and Molli Byrne; grandchildren, Drake and Carter; godsons, Blake Barker and Patrick Byrne; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
