Willard Beasley

SIOUX CITY -- Willard "Lee" Beasley, 71, of Sioux City died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. Per Lee's request, the body has been cremated. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at the American Legion Hall, 3901 Floyd Blvd. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Lee was born Aug. 10, 1940, in Clear Lake, S.D., the son of Joseph and Edith (Hayes) Beasley. He served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard for several years. Lee was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed rock collecting. Survivors include six children; four brothers; three sisters; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
