SIOUX CITY -- Alicyn "Ellie" J. Pallos-Clausen, 59, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Erpelding of St. Boniface Catholic Church officiating. Alicyn was born June 22, 1952, in Sioux City, to Burdette and Margaret (White) Clausen. She was married to George Pallos and Clifford Perry. George Pallos died in 2000 in Rapid City, S.D. Ellie was employed as a bartender at various Sioux City area bars. In her free time, she enjoyed drawing and painting and throwing darts. She loved music, cats and most of all, spending time with her family. Survivors include a son, Jason Pallos of Sioux City; a daughter, Roni (Gries) Gotto of Sioux City; a brother, Tim Clausen and his wife Judy of South Sioux City; a sister, Mary Johnson of Sioux City; two grandchildren, Deven and Ebony Pallos of Sioux City; eight nieces and nephews, Jamie Russell, Jacob Petersen, Joey Johnson, Johnny Petersen, Brian Clausen, David Clausen, Amy Clausen and Katie Clausen; many other great nieces and nephews; an adopted brother, Jesse White; and special friend, Cathy Leopold. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother, Alice Worden; a grandson, Jorden Douglas Gries; and a brother, David Clausen.
