HINTON, IA---Joyce Katherine Wilsbacher, 72 of Sioux City, IA and formerly of Hinton, IA died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Touchstone Living Center after a long illness. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2000. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellendale, IA with Rev. Dan Greving officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ellendale. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday with the family present 6:00-8:00 p.m. and a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com . Joyce was born October 9, 1938 in Sioux City, IA the daughter of Leo and Margaret (Crouch) Graham. She attended Central High School. On March 17, 1955 she married William "Bill" Wilsbacher in Sioux City. To that union six daughters were born. Joyce served as president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hinton, IA for many years. She loved to garden, paint, cross-stitch, raise flowers and babysit. Joyce was a caretaker for many ill people over the years. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church in Ellendale. Survivors include her husband, Bill; six daughters and their husbands, Denise and Daryle Saltzgiver of South Sioux City, NE, Diane and Perry Pinkerton of Hinton, IA, Karen Hageman and Ronney Livermore of Sioux City, Sharon and Doug Hale of Green Bay, WI, Barbara and Alvin Satterwhite of Prescott, AZ and Cathy and Rod Hamm of Lawton, IA; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruth Lill and Geraldine Allen and a brother, Norman Graham. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
