SIOUX CITY -- Stacy M. Wagner, 39, of Sioux City died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morningside Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Pulscher officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online at meyerbroschapels.com. Stacy was born May 9, 1972, in Sioux City, the daughter of Doug and Deb (Stewart) Wagner. She attended Sioux City schools, graduating from East High School in 1990. Stacy was awarded a bachelor of science degree from Briar Cliff College. Stacy worked in the human resources department at the Belle of Sioux City Casino, Mercy Medical Center and the Argosy Casino, retiring due to health problems. While at the Belle, Stacy received the Employee of the Year award. She was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church. Stacy was known for her huge heart and the ability to love everyone put in her life. She said hello and goodbye with enormous bear hugs. Stacy was a talented scrap-booker, dedicated shop-aholic and had a love of photography, reading, watching movies, spending time with family and mothering her dog, Rocky. Survivors include her parents, Doug and Deb Wagner of Sioux City; her brother Clint Wagner and his wife Emily of Sioux City; her sister Kelly Jo Wagner of Plano, Texas; paternal grandmother Joyce Wagner of Merrill, Iowa; nephew and nieces, Alexandra and Cole of Plano and Abigail of Sioux City; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Harlan Wagner and maternal grandparents Virgil and Dorothy Stewart. Pallbearers will be Amado Martinez, Joe Rodriguez, Shawn Desgrosellier, Terry Gray, John Pavone, D.J. Koopman, Tony J.R. Pennell and Clint Wagner.
