Angela F. Bliek

SOUTH SIOUX CITY -- Angela F. Bliek, 51, of South Sioux City passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at a local hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Angela, the daughter of Dale C. and Lois (James) Jorgensen, was born on Sept. 20, 1959, in Norfolk, Neb. She graduated from Sioux City North High School in 1977. Angela married Gary L. Bliek on Sept. 11, 1983, in the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. She was currently employed at Knoepfler Chevrolet as a warranty clerk. She had also worked for Hoak Motors for 24 years and Salsness Buick in the past. Angie enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, cooking, watching NASCAR, and collecting teddy bears. Angie was a member of the National Corvette Museum. Angela is survived by her husband, Gary of South Sioux City; her father, Dale C. (Deb) Jorgensen of Richland, S.D.; one brother, Don (Deb) Jorgensen of Sioux City; one niece, Stephanie (Justin) Walker of Sioux City; one grandniece, Isabella Walker of Sioux City; many aunts and uncles; and her two dogs, Anika and Kasey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois; and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of Siouxland or the Siouxland Humane Society.
