Lori Lynn Combs

SIOUX CITY -- Lori Lynn Combs, 49, of Sioux City died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Tanya Scherrill of Riverside United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Lori was born Aug. 30, 1961, in Sioux City, the daughter of LaVerl and Virginia (Clay) Combs. She grew up in Sioux City. Lori enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and her dogs, Pudge and Baby. Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Combs and her significant other, Jose Torres of Sioux City, Megan Hernandez and her husband, Oscar of Call, Texas, and Lynda Waters of Call; Lori's significant other of 17 years, Kayla Mobley of Call; 10 brothers: Tim, Tom, Tracy, Gaylen, Jeff, Carl, Ed, Mike, Doug and Ronnie; two sisters: Linda and Marlene; and five grandchildren, Avery, Christian, Daniel, Raven and Emmanuel; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her childhood best friend Teresa Murray of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard; and a sister, Caroline.
