Lorraine D. Frazee

Lorraine Delores Frazee, 83 of Worthington MN went to be with the Lord April 26, 2011, at home, after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She lived in Wichita KS the pass 4 ½ years with her daughter Sherry and son in-law Richard. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd., Sioux City, IA on Saturday May 14, 2011. Visitation with the family will be from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM and service at 11:00 AM. Immediately following, the burial service will be held in Worthington, MN, Worthington Cemetery, located at the corner of Nobles and County Highway 5. Online condolences may me made at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Lorraine was born in Jefferson, SD, July 11, 1927 to Glen and Luella Edwards. She married Raymond Frazee in Dakota City, Nebraska August 14, 1943. She was a loving, giving and caring mother, a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. She never met a stranger she didn't like. Her smile was contagious and a laugh that made you giggle. Her favorite pastimes were sitting outside enjoying nature, tending to her flowers and her beautiful rose garden. Lorraine is survived by her four children, Sherry (Richard) Gormally, Wichita KS., Ed (Carolyn) Frazee, Sioux City, IA, Beverly (Steven) Johnson, West Dundee, IL., Raymond "Jim" Frazee (Judy), Alexandria MN., ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, sisters, Donna Semple (Norm), Joyce Mc Peek, Patty Bietema (Slim), Diana Miller, Rosella Mannion (Gary), brothers Dwayne Edwards (Aggie), John Edwards Jolean, and Randy Edwards (Sue) and numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, Parents Glen and Luella Edwards and Brother Glen Edwards. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market, Wichita KS 67202.
