Paul J. Zarbano

SIOUX CITY -- Paul J. Zarbano, 68, of Sioux City died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Casa de Paz following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Tess Panamaro officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Paul J. Zarbano was born Dec. 24, 1942, in Sioux City, the son of Angelo and Josephine (Cuccia) Zarbano. He was a lifelong Sioux City resident.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Democratic Party. He did a lot of volunteer work for both.

Survivors include two brothers, Sam Zarbano and his wife, Cynthia of St. Peter, Minn., and Mike Zarbano and his wife, Dane of Sergeant Bluff; and seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
