Margaret L. (Hagestrom) (Lee) Youngstrom, 84, of South Sioux City passed away suddenly Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at a local hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Terry Embke of Morningside Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Cemetery. Margaret was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Sioux City, to Melvin and Genevieve (Perry) Wickey. She lived at 1104 E. 17th Street, Apt. 712 in South Sioux City, with her daughter, Linda. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her friends, including special friends at McDonald's, and taking care of her pets. She also loved to crochet.
Margaret is survived by four sons, Gerald (Diane) Lee of Sioux City, Jim Lee of Alaska, Chuck (Valerie) Hagestrom of Sergeant Bluff, and Ken (Shauna) Hagestrom of Sioux City; two daughters, Linda (Dan) Belew of South Sioux City, and Sharon (David) Tedford of Sioux City; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Youngstrom; three sons, Gary Lee, Jay Lee and John Hagestrom; and two brothers, Jack and Kenny.
Pallbearers will be Mike Tedford, Daniel Belew Jr., Charlie Hagestrom, Adam Hagestrom, Nick Mercer, Todd Lee, Shawn Lee and John Hagestrom.
