Marvin L. "Murph" Wyatt, 55, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at his residence following a brief illness.

Marvin was born on Feb. 18, 1951, in Sioux City.
He married Barbara M. (McGloine) King on Feb. 14, 2002, in Sioux City. The couple resided in Rhode Island for 14 years prior to returning to Sioux City in 2000 to care for his mother. Murph had been a truck driver for the majority of his adult life. He drove for Jo-Mac at the time of his death.
He belonged to the American Legion for 20 years. Murph was an avid Harley rider and a faithful New England Patriots fan.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; his mother, Lila Mae Wyatt of Sioux City; three sons, Keith Johnson Wyatt and his wife, Christee of Sioux City, Ron Wyatt and his wife, Bernadette of Omaha, Neb., and Brad King of Rhode Island; six grandchildren, Amy, Justin, Colin, Zach, Olivia and Nicole; and a special uncle, Dean Jones and his wife, Nadine of Santa Ana, Calif. He was preceded in death by a son, Benny Johnson Wyatt.
Memorials may be left to the family in care of the funeral home.
