Alta Lee Witt

Alta l. Witt, 81, of Marshalltown, Iowa formerly of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in Marshalltown. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 on Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. A private graveside service will be held at Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 with Reverend Roger Madden officiating. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new I thought about you yesterday and days before that too, I think of you in silence I often speak your name, Now all I have are memories and your picture in a frame, A million times Ive thought of you, A million times Ive cried, If my love could have saved you, you never would have died, Things we feel most deeply are the hardest things to say. My dearest mom I loved you in a very special way. If I could have one life time wish, one dream that could come true, Id pray to God with all my heart, for yester year and you. Your memory is my keepsake, with which Ill never part, God has you in his keeping, I have you in me heart.
