Gavyn Darwin Webb

SIOUX CITY -- Gavyn Darwin Webb, 6-month old son of Lance and Nancy (Wernimont) Webb of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with Jerry Sherer officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Gavyn was born April 13, 2009, in Sioux City, the son of Lance and Nancy (Wernimont) Webb. He was a fun-loving and full-of-life baby, who always had a smile on his face. Although Gavyn was not on this earth for long, he touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Nancy and Lance Webb; fraternal twin sister, Emma Webb; brother, Braydn Webb; paternal grandparents, Ted and Jolene Webb of Woodbine, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Michael and Myrna Wernimont of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Kyle and Janet Wallin and their children, Hayley and Morgan of Northwood, Iowa, Thomas and Eryn Wernimont of Urbandale, Iowa, Gary and Christy Wernimont and their children, Ethan and Lucos of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Eric and Jen Webb of Ankeny, Iowa, and Tyler Webb of Phoenix, Ariz.; and paternal great-grandparents, Helen Foglesong and Earl and Connie Webb.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Darwin Foglesong; and maternal great-grandparents, Marcellus and Marian Wernimont and Otto and Janice Lasack.
