Stephen R. Warner

SIOUX CITY -- Stephen R. Warner, 64, of Sioux City passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at his residence.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oregon.

Stephen was born Feb. 10, 1946, in Pomona, Calif., to Ronnie and Marvelyn (Wold) Warner. He received his general education diploma while serving his country with the U.S. Army.

He was married to Janet Albert in 1973. To that union, two children were born. He drove truck for 20 years, retiring from Aramark.

Survivors include a son, Zachary Warner of Oregon; a stepson, James Albert of Sioux City; a daughter, Angela Warner of Sioux City; a brother, John Lee Warner of Iowa; four sisters, Donita Everett, Christina Dosland, Karen Harrison and Diane Collins, all of Oregon; two grandsons, Tristin and Garrett Warner of Oregon; and a special friend, Brenda Davis of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
