Mindy Lynn Running

SIOUX CITY -- Mindy Lynn Running, 19, of Sioux City died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at her residence.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. James Bruch of St. Boniface Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will begin 10 a.m. today until 10 a.m. Wednesday at Four Nations, 613 Water Street in Sioux City. Visitation will resume noon to service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Mindy was born March 27, 1989, in Luverne, Minn., to Webster and Carol (McBride) Running. She had acquired her G.E.D.

She attended St. Paul's Indian Mission Church. Mindy loved spending time with her son and family and loved listening to music and dancing. She always had a special way to make people happy.

Survivors include her parents, Webster Running and Carol Negrete-Olmedo; a son, Zacharius Running; three brothers, Webster Running, Mark Running and Cornell McBride, all of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and four sisters, Lisa Alatorre and her boyfriend, Hector Santillan of Sioux Falls, Caroline Running and her boyfriend, Gilbert Heth, Autumn Running and Fhilipa Running, all of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
