William D. Rose, 57, of Raymore, Missouri, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 5, 2006 in Raymore, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2006 with visitation one-hour prior at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Reverend Valerie Heller officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
William was born on April 8, 1949 in Sioux City to William K and Dorothy J. (Arnett) Rose. He grew up and attended Sioux City schools where he graduated from East High School in 1967. William was the manager of Truck Havens in various towns. He also sold restaurant equipment supplies in the area. William most recently was a security guard for a pharmaceutical company in Kansas City. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, and Star Wars. He also enjoyed fishing. William loved spending time with his granddaughter Sabrina.
William is survived by his mother, Dorothy J. Rose of Sioux City, Iowa, Son Travis Rose and a granddaughter Sabrina, one brother Daniel Rose and his spouse Georgia of Sioux City, Iowa, one sister Karen Stitt and her spouse Kevin Stuve of Mankato, Minnesota and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
William was preceded in death by his father, William K. Rose, and his grandparents.
