Lucille L. Reisdorph

Reisdorph, 79, of Plattsmouth, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. John Hagberg officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Julie Tillberg of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Plattsmouth officiating, all at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home in Sioux City. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lucille was born July 24, 1927, in Emerson, Neb., the daughter of Francis and Lilly (Strahmeyer) Grove. She moved with the family to South Sioux City as a child. In 1940, she moved to Sioux City.

She married Lee B. Reisdorph on June 16, 1945, in Sioux City. She was a bus driver for the Sioux City Public School District for more than 17 years. She also was the bus driver route coordinator for five years. She also taught the bus driving stop program from 1982 to 1989. Lee preceded her in death on June 14, 1989 in Sioux City. In September 2002, she moved to Plattsmouth.

She was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was a life member of both the Siouxland Senior Center and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 1973. She was a past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 580, as well as past district vice president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Survivors include five sons and their wives, Danny Lee and Donna Reisdorph of Missouri, Kermit B. and Fiorenza Reisdorph of Plattsmouth, Neb., Ronald R. and Rhonda Reisdorph of Omaha, Bruce W. and Brenda Reisdorph of Yankton, S.D., and Rex E. and Mary Reisdorph of Holstein, Iowa; a daughter and her husband, Yvette L. and John Shinn of Olwein, Iowa; a brother, Ralph Grove of Hubbard, Neb.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Labonna Marie Stone and Annalee Sue Reisdorph; three brothers, Levi, Marion and Albert Grove; and three sisters, Anna Gatzmeyer, Estella Steemken and Betty Jo Stokes.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jo Stokes, Jed Winquist, Ray Johnston, Terry Honeycutt, Dale Miller and Rodney Reisdorph Sr.
