Everett L. Provost

Everett L. Provost, 66, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Fellowship Church in Wagner, S.D. Burial will be in Holy Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. today, with a time of remembrance at 6 p.m., at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Everett was born May 15, 1940, in Wagner, S.D., to Everett and Evelyn (LeClair) Provost.

He married Patricia Lerma on Dec. 17, 1966. He and his wife owned the Casa Grande Restaurant.

Everett was a very kind and respectful man. Everyone liked him. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to travel and went to Wagner, S.D. often.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Provost of Sioux City; three sons, Larry and his wife, Sharon Provost of Des Moines. Terry Provost and Ricky Provost, both of Sioux City; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Kale, Trev, Nathan, Christian, Lauren and Kyle; three sisters, Ramona Archambeau of Wagner, S.D., Audrey and her husband, Ken Mobley of Ada, Okla. and Joan Frazier of Sioux City; and four sisters-in-law, Theresa "Gogo" and her husband, Mike Goodwin, Denise Kearns, Stephanie and her husband, Tom Bata and Nikki and her husband, Harold Cleveland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers; parents-in-law, Rubert and Lucille Lerma; two brothers-in-law, Chico and Mando Lerma; and two sisters-in-law, Laura Kissinger and Tina Lerma.
