Merle L. Price

Merle L. Price, 71, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body was cremated. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Merle was born Oct. 10, 1935, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Albert and Hilda (Larson) Price. He had worked at Western Iowa Tech.

Survivors include his wife, Janet of Sioux City; five children, Mike Price and his wife, Mary of Sioux City, Bill Price of Colorado, Kathy Price of Sioux City, DeAnna Johnson of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Douglas Price and his wife, Carrie of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
