Janelle E. Price, 60, of Sioux City died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.
The body will be cremated. There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Janelle was born May 15, 1947, in Omaha, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Ratigan) Price. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools.
She was a friendly outgoing person, who loved to laugh and smile. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, puzzles, animals and dancing.
Survivors include a son, Mark Scanlan of Braddyville, Iowa; two daughters, Donna Scanlan and her fiance, Mike Thompson of Harlan, Iowa, and Tammy and her husband, Cesar Melgar of Sioux City; two brothers, Donnie and Earl Price, both of Sioux City; two sisters, Mary Campbell of Sioux City and Cathy of San Jose, Calif.; and five grandchildren, Austin, Trenton, Tonie, Megan and Heather.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
