Lonnie Lincoln "Link" Presley

SIOUX CITY -- Lonnie Lincoln "Link" Presley, 62, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at his residence.

The body was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lonnie was born Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1946, in Athens, Tenn., to Howard and Lillian (Hicks) Presley. He was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army.

He married Charmayne Buehler on March 24, 1971, in College Corner, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Lynn (Jim) Phillips of Kirkersville, Ohio, Mary Presley of Camden, Ohio, Bobbi (John) Pemberton of Brookville, Ohio, and Beth Sickler of Sioux City; four sisters, Hellen Ford of Franklin, Ind., Johnene (David) Wheat of Reelsville, Ind., Jackie (Robert) Eastwood of Indianapolis, Ind., and Tabby (Rory) Malone of Martinsville, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Barney Ray, Ronnie Sr. and Jeffery P. Presley.
