SIOUX CITY -- Gertrude (Severson) Pinchot-Garver, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and friend to all, passed away Sept. 4, 2010, at her residence in Sioux City.
Per her request, Gertrude has been cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Gertrude was born Nov. 27, 1918, in Sioux City, the daughter of Harry Severson and Genevieve (Moran) Severson.
She is survived by her sons, Michael and wife, Diana Pinchot of Orange County, Calif., and Gary Pinchot of Sioux City; grandchildren, Michael Pinchot-Clark of Sioux City, Ronald, Gary and Donald Pinchot of Portland, Ore., Debbie Pinchot-Callison and her husband, Jeff of Bellevue, Wash., Stacy Pinchot-Lewis and her husband, Jon of Temecula, Calif., Jeff and his wife, Michelle Pinchot of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., Laura Allen and her husband, Jeff of Aliso Viejo, Calif., and Cynthia Pinchot-Lambie and her husband, Brian of Papillion, Neb.; and great-grandchildren, Dustin Pinchot-England-Lewis of Temecula, Calif., Paige Pinchot-Lewis of Temecula and Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Richlie, Evan and Jacob Pinchot-Allen of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Kevin Pinchot of Austin, Texas, Keegan and Rachel Pinchot of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Jack, Max and Gage Pinchot-Lambie of Papillion, and Michael and Jason Callison of Bellevue, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene Severson-Lyle; husbands, Melvin Pinchot and Kenneth Garver; a son, Ronald Pinchot; a daughter, Diane Pinchot-Clark; and grandchildren, Michelle Pinchot-Clark and Jason Pinchot.
