SIOUX CITY -- Mary J. Pepple, 70, of Sioux City died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at her home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with a time for sharing. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Mary was born July 24, 1939, in rural Niobrara, Neb., to Alfred and Victoria (Wolf) Abraham. She attended St. Mary's Mission School in South Dakota and attended WIT Community College.
She was married to Douglas Cooper and later to John Pepple for a time. Mary was employed at Wal-Mart. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, crafts, drawing and spending time with all her family.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Cooper of Sioux City, and Jack Pepple of Madison, Wis.; a daughter, Kelly Meyer of Missouri; and three sisters, Catherine Winters, Toni Henshaw and Ramona Tuttle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, "Sonny" Abraham and Walter Abraham.
