Shirley Henriette O'Connor

Shirley Henriette OConnor, 90 of Hampton, Iowa formerly of Sioux City passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, Iowa.

Funeral services for Shirley will be on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church with Rev. Kenneth Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Shirley was born on January 2, 1920 in Sioux City to William and Augusta (Klein) Myers. She graduated from Central High School. Shirley was united in marriage to Eugene OConnor on February 21, 1954 in Sioux City. He preceded her in death on September 4, 1991 in Sioux City. Shirley owned and operated Motor Row Lunch Restaurant located on West 7th St. for 24 years. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Liz (Terry) Carr of Hampton and a grandchild Aidan Carr of Hampton. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
