SIOUX CITY -- Marguerite H. Nathlich of Sioux City died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dan Lozer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Marguerite was born Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1919, in Akron, Iowa, the daughter of Vance and Hannah Bell (McInnis) Wise.
She married Clifford Nathlich on May 31, 1946, in Sioux City. They were very close. Clifford passed away March 23, 1986.
She was very involved in the Senior Companion Program for 11 years, from 1990 to 2001. She was a member of Mayflower Congregational Church.
Survivors include two stepsons, Robert (Jan) Nathlich of Broomfield, Colo., and William (Phyllis) Nathlich of Dakota Dunes, S.D.; a brother, William D. Weisenburger Sr. of Fairfax, Va.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, David Weisenburger; a stepson, Ronald Nathlich; and four sisters, Betty Baker, Dorothy Mae Maynard, Lillian Faye Sebasts and Mildred Lee Helin.
Pallbearers will be Duane Jones, Sterling McInnis, Lyle McInnis, Robert Jones, Bill Michael and Bruce McInnis.
