Donna M. Miller, 82, of Sioux City died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Indian Hills Nursing and Rehab Facility.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Daniel Guenther officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present 5 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 6 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Mrs. Miller was born July 4, 1925, in Sioux City, the daughter of John and Olive (Maxey) Kovarna. She attended rural country school in Plymouth County, Iowa.
She married Clarence Miller in 1943 in Rolla, Mo. He passed away in February 2003 in Sioux City. She was a OB tech at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center for 33 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, James (Cinda) Miller of Lincoln, Neb., and Ronald Miller of Rapid City, S.D.; a daughter, Barbara (Dave) McKenney of Hinton, Iowa; a brother, Howard (Margie) Kovarna of Merrill, Iowa; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Betty Ferichs and Doris Sitzman; and two brothers, Lester and Charles Kovarna.
