James D. "Jimmer" Merchant Jr., 23, of Sioux City entered into heaven's gates Sunday, May 13, 2007, at his residence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Jimmer was born March 2, 1984, in Sioux City, the son of Jim and Doris (Kuehn) Merchant Sr. He attended Riverside School.
He enjoyed swimming, music, Bob Baker and being outdoors. He touched the hearts of those who loved him and those who just met him. He was a very special boy.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Doris Merchant Sr.; grandparents, Carl and Lynn Merchant and Carol Kuehn; two sisters, Bobbi Merchant (Allen) Mittrucker and Sara Miens; and special people, Chase James Merchant, Debbie Merchant, Cooter Witkowski, Nicholas Perera, Sissy Bobbi and Uncle Boy Staci Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kuehn Merchant; grandmother, Donna Merchant; and grandfather, Bob Kuehn.
