Patricia C. McGeachy

Patricia C. McGeachy, 60, of Sioux City, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2008, at her home. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 3-8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with Reverend Roger Madden officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Humboldt, Iowa.

Pat was born on March 17, 1948, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Carl D. and Mable (Blair) Engman. She grew up in the Dayton, Iowa where she graduated from Dayton High School in 1966. She then attended Junior College in Fort Dodge.

Pat married Dennis McGeachy on February 3, 1973, in Hampton, Iowa. The couple moved to Sioux City, where Pat worked at J.C.Penneys in the Home Furnishing Department until 2004.

Pat accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1980, and attended faithfully the Sioux City Baptist Church.

Pat is survived by 2 sisters, Daun Keefe of Tama, IA, Cindy Hanson and husband Andy of Goldfield, IA, 4 brothers, Mick Engman of Humboldt, IA, Hans Engman of Humboldt, IA, John Engman of Council Bluffs, IA, Greg Engman and wife Yvonne of Humboldt, IA, 2 nieces and 7 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Denny on April 7, 2004, brother, Carl Bud Edwin Engman in 1968, sister, Nora Jones on June 27, 2007, nephew, Carl Ryan Engman.
