Alejandro L. McCalmont

SIOUX CITY -- Alejandro "Alex" Jose Lee McCalmont, our little Angel, was called by his Lord and Savior to come home on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Tess Panamarow officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Alex was born June 17, 2008, in Sioux City. Alex was a true gift from God, and our little Angel brought a sense of peace and joy to everyone that knew him. He always had a smile on his face and was the little doorman, welcoming everyone into his home. He loved butterscotch candy, and had a special game he would play with his mama. Alex loved his family very much, and never wanted to be away from his mama's side.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Juan Rodriguez; his mother, Ryan McCalmont; his Mama, Chrissy McCalmont; his Mommy, Annette McCalmont; grandparents, Connie and Nick Privett; brothers, Michael, Jackson, Christopher, and Hunter McCalmont and Gabriel Rodriguez; his aunts and uncles, Angie and Corey Zautke, Rene McCalmont, David McCalmont, and Warren and Stacey Baker; numerous cousins; and best friends, Carter Navarez, Connie Miller and Nicole Clark.

He went to Heaven to join his uncle, Mike Baker.

Little Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
