SIOUX CITY -- Barbara Ann (Muecke) Martin, 58, of Sioux City passed away Monday, March 7, 2011, at Hallmark Care Center.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Steven Stoll officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Barbara was born Dec. 8, 1952, in Sioux City, to Clarence and Nicholene (Homer) Muecke. She graduated from Hinton (Iowa) High School and attended Western Iowa Tech Community College. She worked for Interbake Foods for 14 years.

She was married to Bill Martin on Nov. 3, 1989 in Sioux City.

Barbara was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hinton. She enjoyed the art of plasticing canvas. She loved to watch certain television shows and visit Wal-Mart. She also enjoyed working in the yard when she was able to.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Martin of Sioux City; three children, Carri (Tom) Weaverling and their two children, David and Anthony of Creswell, Ore., Andrew (Elizabeth) Bridgeman and their two children, Kelli and Nikki of Hinton, and Rebecca (LeRoy) Reichenbach and their two children, Sean and Alex of Sioux City; her mother, Nicholene Muecke of Hinton; two brothers, Ronald Muecke of Hinton and Mike (Bonnie) Muecke of Hinton; and a sister, Terri (Dean) Carley of Pierson, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father; paternal and maternal grandparents; a daughter, Melissa; and a grandson, CJ.
