SIOUX CITY -- Gary Allen Lofland, 50, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at his residence following a battle with cancer.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2008 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Sam Todd officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
Gary was born Sept. 22, 1958, in Lincoln, Neb., the son of Rolland and Barbara (Murray) Lofland.
He loved to fish and spend time with his friends.
Survivors include two brothers and their wives, Randy and Sue Lofland of Branson, Mo., and Eddie and Amy Lofland of Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Becky and Jeff Sands of Sioux City; nieces and nephews, Nicole and her husband, Robert Greenhagen, Nathan Sands and his wife, Juanita, Kaitlin Lofland, Brandon Lofland, Austin Lofland, Evan Lofland, Meagan Lofland and Sarah Lofland; three grandnephews; a grandniece; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Tim Lofland.
