Keiko "Kay" Littles, 80, of Sioux City died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Northern Hills Retirement Community.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. There will be no visitation.
Kay was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Tokyo, Japan. She was a high school graduate.
She was married to Grady Littles on April 23, 1953, in New Market, N.J. To this union three children were born, Alvin, Allen and Brenda. The marriage ended in 1997. She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed volunteer work, senior tap dance, Japanese doll making, designing floral arrangements and she loved going to Las Vegas, Nev. She was a proud member of the Buddhist faith. She was very proud of her accomplishment of becoming a U.S. citizen in 1955.
She is survived by her three children, Alvin Littles of Seattle, Wash., Allen Littles and his significant other, Kathy Mennen, of Sioux City and Brenda West of Garland, Texas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother; two sisters; and her friend, Grady Littles of Lakeland, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
