David A. Lethcoe, 54, of Sioux City died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Sioux City.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Liberty Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa. David was born Feb. 15, 1953, in Long Beach, Calif., the son of Forrest and Faye (Hudson) Lethcoe. He was married to Laura Clune in 1979. To this union, two sons were born.
He loved to read westerns, work on cars, playing cards, Yahtzee, nature, animals and going on road trips. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Forrest David Lethcoe and his girlfriend, Kelli Eckerman of Sioux City and Kelly Lethcoe of Sioux City; his father and stepmother, Forrest and Sherry Lethcoe of Fort Atkinson, Wis.; two brothers, Darrel (Chris) Lethcoe of Sioux City and Dan (Kathy) Lethcoe of Omaha; two sisters, Dianna (Larry) Keller of Osceola, Iowa, and Doreen Nish of Osceola; two special friends, Lois Kinney of Sioux City and Diana and Juston Vassey of Sioux City; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his mother; and his ex-wife, Laura Clune.
