Mamie H. Larson

Mamie H. Larson, 102, of Coleridge, Neb. formerly of Laurel, Neb. Passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Parkview Manor in Coleridge. A private family graveside service will be held at a later at the Laurel Cemetery. Nelson Berger Northside Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Mamie was born on January 9, 1906 in Fairfax, SD. to John and Anna Carlson. She grew up in Fairfax where she received her education. She moved to Chicago where is worked in different factories.

She met and married her husband John. The couple moved to Laurel where they farmed until the 1960s. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and she also enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family and friends.

Mamie is survived by her daughter, Maureen Gress of Tucson, AZ, two grandsons, Michael Breyfogle and wife Linda of Sioux City, and Scott Breyfogle and wife Susan of Mesa, AZ, 3 great grandsons, Shawn Williams and wife Heather of Council Bluffs, IA, Christopher and Jeffrey Breyfogle of Mesa, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John in 1970.
