Ginger N. Klimiades

Ginger N. Klimiades, 66, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at her residence following a long illness with COPD.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Kevin Lee of Morningside Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Ginger was born June 7, 1940, in Sioux City, the daughter of Glenn G. Sr. and Ruth A. (Comegys) Iddings.

Ginger had been involved in food service for the majority of her adult life, more recently working at Holiday Inn and CasinOmaha. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, but especially loved time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include five children and their spouses, Cherri and David Broyles of Comfort, Texas, Terrance and Velma Clarke of Golden Meadow, La., Karleen and Mark Lubben of Sioux City, Teresa and Mark Harder of Boerne, Texas and Constantine and Stephanie Klimiades of Des Moines; a brother and his wife, Jerry and Bernice Iddings of Omaha; a sister, Logene Hooper of Omaha; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Damon Cadiz.

Pallbearers will be Austin Harder, Rogelio Sanchez, Tony Gomez, Jarett Delfs, Chris Margellos and Jeff Iddings.
