SIOUX CITY -- Marilyn Kirk, 78, of Sioux City passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Indian Hills Nursing and Rehab.

Per her request, Marilyn was cremated and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Berger Northside Chapel.

Marilyn was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Sioux City, the daughter of Ed and Juanita (Lewis) Luft.

She was a member of Riverside Lutheran Church.

Survivors include six children; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
