Stella Louise Kinnaman of Sioux City was called home to the loving arms of Jesus Thursday, April 5, 2007.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no visitation.
Stella Louise Kinnaman was born Oct. 25, 1945, in Sioux City.
She was a retired child care provider. She never met a child she couldn't love. She was unique and always ready with a humorous comeback to any situation or statement needing a response. If there was a bingo hall within 25 miles of her, you knew she had been there. If there was an Elvis Presley artifact anywhere near her, move to the side because it was going home with her.
She is survived by a brother and his wife, Larry and Eva LaFave of Wyandotte, Okla.; her dear friends, Ron and Karen Siebold and Barbara Brunick; several nieces and nephews, Roseann, Michael, Rachelle, Ricky, Joe, Tom and Jim; grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Lydia; brothers, Lester, Victor and Richard; and a sister, Donna.
To the world there was nothing extraordinary about her. Those of us who loved her knew better. We will miss her.
