M Jeanette Keller

M. Jeanette Keller, 75, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at Holy Spirit Assisted Living.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Cathedral of the Epiphany, with the Very Rev. Paul-Louis Arts officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today, with a rosary at 6:30 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Jeanette was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Sioux City, the daughter of Leo G. and Margaret K. (Zurcher) Keller. She graduated from Cathedral High School and was a lifelong Sioux City resident. She had been a long time employee with Holtz Construction until retiring in 1995.

She was a long time member of Cathedral of the Epiphany and prior to her illness, was active in the parish. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was an avid bridge player including tournament bridge. Over the years, she taught many people how to play the game. She also enjoyed collecting beautiful things and sharing them with others. She had many friends and enjoyed traveling with them or family members both here and aboard.

She is survived by a brother and his wife, Joseph "Joe" and Joy Keller of Tiburon, Calif.; a sister and her husband, Rosemary and Jim Bernoski of Seattle, Wash.; a brother and his wife, Mark and Jackie Keller of Hugo, Minn.; two sisters-in-law, Patsy Keller of Sioux City and Lorna Keller of Des Moines; and 29 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Richard "Dick" and John "Jack" Keller.

She will be missed by all of us.
