Rose Mary Jordan, 91, of Sioux City died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2009 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Bruch officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, with a vigil service at 3 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Rose Mary was born March 18, 1917, in Spokane, Wash., the daughter of Dennis and Agnes (Brenner) Feeney. She graduated from Seattle (Wash.) High School.
She married Robert Jordan on Feb. 19, 1944, in Dakota City. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1992, in Sioux City. She worked as a waitress for Roberts Dairy, Blue Mill and Mid-American Restaurants.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, doing crossword puzzles and sewing.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick (Violeta) Jordan and Charles Jordan of Sioux City; a sister, Sister Diana Feeney of Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Judy; three brothers; and four sisters.
Pallbearers will be Shane Sheffer, Skyler Peterson, Ed Steeg, Luke Steeg, Chad Sheffer and Curtis Ingells.
