SIOUX CITY -- Clayton L. Johnson Jr., 73, of Sioux City died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Touchstone Living Center.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Clayton was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Sioux City, the son of Clayton and Berniece (Ray) Johnson. He graduated from Central High School and was a lifelong Sioux City resident. He worked for Raskin Packing Plant, then for John Morrell for 27 years.
He served in the U.S. Army. He was a dog racing fan.
Survivors include a brother, Darwin Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Artheillia Thompson of Detroit, Mich., Ernestine Boykin of Omaha and Margaret E. Wiggins of Detroit; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Gordon Leibowich of Sioux City.
