Theresa M. Hunter

NORTH SIOUX CITY -- Theresa M. Hunter, 89, of North Sioux City died Thursday, June 17, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.

Theresa was born May 1, 1921, in Molinara, Italy, to Angelo and Congetta (Magliaro) Callisto.

She married Keith Hunter on March 20, 1947, in Eveleth, Minn. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1992, in Sioux City. Theresa was a housewife. She loved to play bingo, cook and bake in her free time; everything was from scratch in her house.

Survivors include one son, Jim Hunter of Menomonie, Wis.; four daughters, Sharon Allen and her husband, Robert of North Sioux City, Gloria Moore of North Sioux City, Patricia Leggett and her husband, Jerry of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Michelle Calo of Sioux City; one brother, Angelo Callisto and his wife, Sarah of Black River Falls, Wis.; one sister, Mary Swanson and her husband, Harvey of Henderson, Nev.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five brothers.
