SIOUX CITY -- Norma J. Horst, 79, of Sioux City died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, in Sioux City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Kenny Hsu officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Logan Park Cemetery. Norma was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Denison, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Dorette (Dorale) McCain.
She married Arthur Horst on Aug. 24, 1947, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sioux City.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was a very active member of the church and the school.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Brenda) Horst of Sioux City and Stephan Horst of Sioux City; two daughters, Deborah Klein of California, and Susan Horst of Sioux City; two sisters, Helen (Jack) Bowman of Kingsley, Iowa, and Alice (Tom) Wingert of rural Plymouth County, Iowa; a brother, Burt (Joann) McCain; and three grandchildren, Heather (Robert) Kloucek and their children, Devon and Ian, Sara (Jeremy) Ruby and their children, Cora and Logan and Audra Klein.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Evelyn Bulington.
